Founder’s Message

Welcome to our website! It has been designed to give you the opportunity to discover the many reasons why our private bilingual award-winning Pre-School/Daycare experience is without equal.

I founded The Learning Tree in 1985 with the underlying philosophy to only offer the best and to accept no compromises. It is the guiding principle behind all we do. We provide our services from only one facility due to our firm belief that there is no substitute for direct, personal daily “hands on” interactions with the families we serve.

It has been our pleasure and privilege to serve West-Island families for the past 38 years. Over a generation of children have come through our doors, developing into academically-prepared, confident, enthusiastic leaders of tomorrow. I am frequently approached by proud parents whose children graduated from our centre and am thrilled to hear about their children’s successes and how notably well-prepared they were upon commencing primary school.

We pride ourselves on learning each child’s individual strengths. We work closely with each family, forming the important “triangle” between Parent, Child and School. This helps us further uncover each child’s uniqueness and hidden potential talents.
